Are you looking for a quick and easy delicious ground beef recipe to make for the family? You have to try this easy cheesy ground beef taco on rice recipe.

The kids love this recipe and it is quick and easy to make. When I am looking for something fast to make for lunch or dinner, this is my go-to recipe.  It takes about 5 minutes to prepare and about 30 minutes to cook.

Shopping List

You will need:

  • 2-16 oz Ground Beef
  • White Rice
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Taco Seasoning
  • Red Pepper
  • Green Pepper

How Do I Make Cheesy Taco On Rice

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • Cook white rice.
  • Cut up red and green peppers into small pieces.
  • Heat frying pan on medium heat with a small amount of oil.
  • Add ground beef.
  • Cook for 5 minutes breaking apart the meat with a spatula.
  • Drain Fat.
  • Add red and green pepper.
  • Stir around.
  • Cook for 5 more minutes or until there is no pink remaining in the meat.
  • Add 1 1/2 cups of water.
  • Add 2 packages of taco seasoning mix and stir around into meat.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the stove when done.
  • Place rice on a plate or bowl.
  • Add ground beef to the top.
  • Add cheddar cheese on top.
  • Microwave for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • Enjoy!!
