Can I Use Other Ingredients

I get this question a lot and here are some of my suggestions for substitutions.

Broccoli: I used a package of broccoli florets for this recipe. But, you can also use whole broccoli for this recipe. You will need to wash and cut the broccoli into small pieces before cooking.

Spices: If you don’t have Italian seasoning you can use salt.

Cheese: I used mozzarella cheese but you can use whatever cheese you have on hand. You only need a little bit of cheese to sprinkle on top.

Garlic: If you don’t have minced garlic you can use a clove of whole garlic. Cut the garlic into small pieces.

Spicy: If you want to make this recipe spicy you can add red pepper flakes or cut up a jalapeno into small pieces and add to the recipe.
