Gather all your ingredients.
Cut onion into small pieces and set aside.
Open can of corn, kidney beans, and black beans and drain.
Rinse kidney and black beans. Set aside.
In a small bowl combine taco seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir around and set aside.
Heat a large pot on medium heat with a small amount of oil.
Add ground beef and onions. Stir around breaking apart any chunks of ground beef. Cook until browned.
Drain fat from ground beef.
Return to stove and add corn, kidney beans, and black beans. Stir around.
Add minced garlic and stir well.
Next, add 3 cups of beef broth and mix around.
Now add your seasoning and stir well to combine all the ingredients together.
Cover pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, depending on how soft you want your beans to be.
Enjoy.
Top with sour cream and cheese if you like.
