In a bowl combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, corn starch, and red pepper flakes. Whisk around well. Cover and set aside, you will use it later.
Cut up red pepper and onion into thin slices.
Heat a frying pan or wok on medium heat with oil. Add shrimp, basil, parsley and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Remove the shrimp from the frying pan and place it in a bowl to use later.
Heat the same frying pan on medium heat with oil. Add onion and red pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add the vegetables to the frying pan and cook for 5 minutes.
Now add the shrimp back to the frying pan and stir around well.
Add your sauce mixture to the frying pan and stir around. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce is warm.
Your dish is now ready to enjoy.
