Spaghetti With Creamy Spinach Sauce

Ingredients

  • 27 Oz. Can of Seasoned Southern Style Spinach
  • 13.66 Oz. Can of Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk
  • 3 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 3 Teaspoons Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients you need.
  • Fill a large pot with water and salt. Bring to a boil.
  • Add spaghetti to the water. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • Now you will make the spinach sauce.
  • Open the can of spinach and drain all the water out. Set Aside
  • Then open a can of coconut milk and set it aside to use later.
  • Next, heat a frying pan with oil. Add minced garlic. Sautee for a minute stirring frequently. You don’t want the garlic to burn.
  • Add the spinach to the frying pan and stir around. Cook for 2-3 minutes
  • Now add the coconut milk to the frying pan and stir everything together. Add salt. Cook for an additional 2- 5 minutes until the sauce is heated.
  • Fill a plate with spaghetti and top it with the spinach sauce. Now your dish is ready to enjoy.

Notes

Tips

  • Don’t overcook the spaghetti.
  • Leave out adding oil to the water as that will cause the sauce to slip off the spaghetti.
  • Let your water come to a boil before adding the spaghetti.
  • Stir the spaghetti frequently when cooking.
  • Add salt to the water you will be using to cook the spaghetti.
  • Don’t overcook the garlic you don’t want it to burn.
  • You can use fresh garlic if you don’t want to use minced garlic.
  • Substitute the canned spinach for fresh spinach if you prefer.
  • Also, frozen spinach will work too just thaw and squeeze out all the water.
  • If you will be using fresh spinach you will cook the spinach until wilted and then season. Follow the directions above.
