Ingredients

  • 5 Chicken Drumsticks
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/3 Cup Honey
  • 1 Cup Low Sodium Beef Broth
  • 3 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Rosemary
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Parsley
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Flour

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 400.
  • Next, remove the chicken drumsticks from the package and either place them in a bowl or a gallon-sized sandwich bag. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Line a greased baking sheet with tin foil. Place the chicken on the baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and flip the chicken drumsticks over. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
  • Switch to broil for 2-3 minutes making sure to check that the top of the chicken doesn’t burn or dry out.
  • Check the chicken drumsticks to see if they are cooked with either a thermometer or poking it with a knife to see if the juices run clear.
  • Now, you will make the honey garlic sauce. In a large pot add water, honey, minced garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, beef broth, parsley, and rosemary. Mix everything together well. Then add flour and whisk around to mix into the sauce
  • Bring the sauce to a boil and then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 1 minute. Stirring occasionally. When the sauce is warm add the chicken drumsticks to the sauce and stir around. Pour the sauce on the chicken.
  • Add additional spices if needed.
  • Your dish is now ready to enjoy.
