Ingredients

  • 3 Teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 2 Teaspoons Parsley Flakes
  • 2 Teaspoons Cilantro Flakes
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

Instructions

  • The first thing you need to do is gather all your ingredients so that you have everything close by.
  • In a bowl add all the ingredients olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, parsley flakes, cilantro flakes, pepper, and brown sugar.
  • Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Place the steaks in a bowl or plastic zip-lock gallon bag.
  • Pour the marinade over the steaks.
  • Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours to overnight.
  • If you use plastic bags, I like to flip the marinade once in a while to really get the flavors in there.
  • You can do the same thing if you use a bowl just stir the steaks around in the marinade occasionally.

Notes

  • Marinate the steak for a minimum of 2 hours. The longer you marinate the better as this will enhance the flavors.
  • After removing the steaks from the fridge after marinating let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Cold steaks don’t seem to cook evenly.
  • Then after cooking the steaks you will want to also let them rest for 3-5 minutes before cutting into them.
  • Always start cooking the steaks on high heat. This will ensure the outside will be browned and it will keep in the flavor and juices.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check when your steaks are done cooking. You don’t want to overcook the steaks.
