How To Freeze Rhubarb

  • Cut and remove the leaves from the rhubarb.
  • Wash the rhubarb well. Pat dry with a towel.
  • Cut the ends off and then cut into small pieces.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the rhubarb on it. Place in the freezer and freeze for 2-5 hours.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the freezer and transfer the rhubarb pieces to a freezer bag or air-tight container. Make sure to remove as much air as possible from the bag before closing.
  • Label with the name and date and then freeze.
