  • Corn
  • Ice and Water

Instructions

  • Peel the corn and remove any excess silk.
  • Next, you will fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the corn to the pot and cook for 4-5 minutes. Turn the corn occasionally. You don't need to add salt to the water.
  • While the corn is boiling fill another pot with ice water.
  • After the corn is done, remove it from the water and place the corn into the ice water. Leave the corn in the ice water for 4-5 minutes. Flip over halfway through the chilling time.
  • Remove the corn from the water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Place the corn on a baking sheet and freeze for 1-2 hours.
  • Remove from the freezer and wrap the corn individually with plastic wrap.
  • Place the corn in a freezer bag. Remove as much air as possible before closing.
  • Label with the name and date and then freeze.

Notes

Corn can last in the freezer for up to 12 months. Check for freezer burn before using.
