Gather all your ingredients.
Preheat oven to 425.
In a large bowl add flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
In a second bowl add butter, vanilla, eggs, milk, and a can of pumpkin. Mix everything together well.
Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix everything together.
Add raisins if you prefer and mix them in.
Line a muffin pan with muffin liners.
Take a spoon and fill the muffin liners with the batter to the top.
Place muffin in the oven and bake for 5 minutes at 425.
Lower heat to 350 and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
To check if done insert a toothpick in the center and see if it comes clean.
