Ingredients

  • 3 Packages Farmhouse Brown & Wild Rice With Garden Vegetable
  • 3 1/4 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 Package  Brown Sugar and Honey Breakfast Sausage
  • 1/4 cup Red Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Green Pepper
  • 1/4 cup onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • In a large pot add water, rice, seasoning mix, and butter.( Follow stove top directions on the package). Do not cover the pot. Stir around.
  • Heat water to a boil stirring occasionally.
  • When water boils lower heat to low setting and cover the pot. Let it simmer for about 25 minutes.
  • While the rice is cooking cut up red pepper, green pepper, and onions into small pieces and set as
  • Heat a frying pan and cook sausages for 12-16 minutes or until done.
  • When sausages are done cooking cut into small pieces. Set aside.
  • In a large frying pan sautee red pepper, green pepper and onions for about 3 minutes.
  • Add the sausages to the frying pan and stir around.
  • When the rice is done cooking add the rice to the frying pan and stir around.
  • Add a little garlic powder to the top and stir.
